Arlington Texas Neighborhoods

Arlington is basically divided into two categories by local residents: North Arlington and South Arlington. South Arlington is considered South of I-20 and North Arlington is closer to I-30 near Six Flags, The Ball Park in Arlington and Hurricane Harbor. Central Arlington (nobody every calls it that), is where you'll find the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) and Theatre Arlington near Cooper Street and Collins. Cooper Street runs East to West through the center of Arlington. Arlington is virtually "land-locked," so there are limits for new construction. There is still some new homebuilder development occurring, mostly in South Arlington.

Arkansas Heights - - Arlington, Texas Neighborhood

Arkansas Heights in Arlington, Texas is an older, established neighborhood in Arlington, with homes built in the 60s and 70s. Homes in the area are priced from the high 80s.

Arlington Meadows - Arlington, Texas Neighborhood

Arlington Meadows is an established community in a convenient location offering homes less than 10 years old in the mid to high $100s. Front garage entries.

Fannin Farms - South Arlington TX Neighborhood

A recently developed community of David Weekley and DR Horton Homes located on South Cooper Street very close to Mansfield. This community offers mature trees and is close to shopping venues such as The Parks Mall and all that I-20 and Cooper have to offer, as well as Mansfield at 287. A walking trail and natural park area makes this community especially quaint. The homes are very well kept, many are newer David Weekley and DR Horton. Front entry garages. Homes range from the $200s - $300s.

Interlochen - Arlington, Texas Neighborhood

Interlochen is a beautiful Arlington, Texas neighborhood known for its Christmas lights display. The entire neighborhood of larger, established homes line a pond and twist around part of Arlington's hills. Homes in the area were built in the 70s and 80s. Prices in the area run from the $200s+.

Woodland West - 3200 Norwood Drive, Arlington, Texas

The Woodlands West Neighborhood Association is active and throws parties for Independence Day. The subdivision has a community swimming pool located next to the Dottie Lynn Recreation Center on Norwood Drive.

Overland Stage Estates - Arlington, Texas Neighborhood

Homes in the Overland Stage area of Arlington are priced in the mid $100s. The neighborhood is lovely for first time home buyers offering affordable homes in a great location.

Bay Club - Arlington, Texas Neighborhood

Bay Club in Arlington, TX is situated off Lake Arlington, offering gorgeous estates with water views in exclusive gated communities. Prices in this area can go into the high millions.
